911 Emergency Ambulance Services
As Carroll County’s 911 provider, you can depend on us.
West Georgia Ambulance has served Carroll County as its trusted 911 provider for nearly half a century. We deliver basic, intermediate and advanced life support and critical care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, across 502 square miles.
By working closely with the 24-hour emergency departments at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton, Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica and Higgins General Hospital in Bremen, we offer a more comprehensive, compassionate and integrated approach to care, from the field to the hospital bedside.
Our care approach is supported by:
- Six county EMS stations located in Bowdon, Clem, north Carrollton, south Carrollton, Temple and Villa Rica — with one on the way — to maximize timely response
- A minimum of one EMT and one paramedic for all emergency calls
- A fleet of 16 vehicles, including Ford F-350, F-450 and F-550 Type I ambulances, Ford Sprinter Type II ambulances and Ford E-350 Type III ambulances to perform 911 emergency scene transfers and inter-hospital patient transfers
- A Community Paramedicine (CP) vehicle and three Quick Response Vehicles (QRVs)
